Energy as a whole, not electricity alone: how much primary energy a country consumes and produces itself, how much of it falls on each resident, how energy-intensive the economy is, what share of final consumption renewables cover, and how much coal, gas and oil the country produces. Primary energy and production come from the U.S. Energy Information Administration in converted units — without conversion, coal production in tons cannot be added up, because grades differ in heat content by almost a factor of two. Electricity is a section of its own.
What share of all the energy consumed comes from renewable sources.
