Military Expenditure Database (SIPRI)

The most complete and most cited series of military expenditure by country, going back to 1949. SIPRI brings national budgets to the common NATO definition (spending on the armed forces, including military pensions and military aid) and publishes them in constant prices, in current US dollars and as a percentage of GDP.
